KITCHEN TIPS

15 GENERAL KITCHEN TIPS👇👇👇 1. To save already cut yam from spoiling, rub red palm oil at the cut or dip the cut part in water. it will preserve the yam till you are ready to use it again. 2. To preserve your ground fresh tomato, boil it, allow it to cool, then pour it in a clean air-tight container, pour vegetable oil on it and cover it. It will be fresh till anytime you want to make use of it. (Ensure the oil covers the entire part of the puree). 3. If you want your beans to soft faster, wash it with salt before parboiling it. 4. Bitter leaf is the best leaf for your egusi soup and the best way of washing it is to boil it with potash and salt for 20minutes. Then rinse it 2-3 times with salt and cold water in order to remove the bitter taste. It works faster than washing it fresh. 5. To avoid stain on your hands while peeling plantains and sweet potatoes, put your hands in a salty water (water and salt) before you start peeling. 6. It is best to clean up your kitchen after cooking and not after eating your meal. 7. Always clean as you cook, so that there is less work load for you. (Learn from Hilda Bassey's marathon cooking). 8. Add salt when cooking cocoyam for quick done. 9. To make your plantain get cooked easily, don't put it on the fire with salt. This is because, the salt will make it harder. Only add salt to it when it is almost getting ready. 10. If you want your meat to cook faster and get soft without using pressure pot, put thick iron spoon inside the meat pot while cooking. 11. Always wash your pumpkin leaf (ugu leaf) first before slicing it, not after slicing it before washing it, so that the nutrition will remain for you. 12. Always parboil your noodles, pasta and rice before cooking them. It is healthier than cooking them directly. 13. Put a bulb of onion in your vegetable oil when frying meat/fish/poultry, it gives it a distinct flavour and aroma. 14. Always use salt to wash all your vegetables and meat before cooking them. 15. If you notice that your jollof rice gets burnt and it is not well done, lower the heat and cover it well (airtight it if possible). Credit Owners #copied....

Humanity Love 😘

Jacqueline Nyetipei Kiplimo did something that stunned the world during the 2010 Zheng-Kai Marathon when she witnessed a disabled competitor struggling to drink water who was a double amputee. Instead of seeing her moment to run ahead of this struggling athelete, she ran along side of him from the 6.2 mile mark to the 23 mile mark (10km mark to the 38km mark), helping him drink water at all of the watering stations. The aide that she so compassionately provided her fellow competitor slowed her run time down and caused her to lose her first place position and place 2nd in the race — costing her the win and the $10,000 cash prize. Jacqueline Nyetipei Kiplimo showed the world that day that to her, being compassionate and helping one another was more important than winning a race that she had been preparing for her entire life. Now this is what a true leader looks like, one that never leaves someone disadvantaged behind. ❤️❤️ #Copied

All For You

 EPISODE 5

Location: Abuja, Nigeria.

Time: 8:06 PM

The room was gloomy but bright enough for everyone to see its magnificience. No wonder it was called crystal; everything seemed to be made of glass from the roof to the ceremic tiles to the state of the art computers to the seatees. There was enough elbow room to contain the forementioned.

Katarina and bronswort occupied two seats while Jayden sat next to the computerised wall as usual.
His fingers were racing from one keypad to the other. He was already used to it!
The large cctv monitor had clips of various places showing on it. However, Jayden poured all his attention on the section displaying Michael. He was on an important mission and communication was vital!
Jayden couldn’t bring himself to believe what he saw, a bomb was resting majestically in Michael’s ski-jet.
He warned Michael about it but it was rather too late, the bomb exploded, causing the screen to take the hazy path. Everything went cloudy as smokes and flames filled the air.

No! This can’t be happening, it must be a fragment of hallucination. He reversed the footage to be sure.
Jayden was the computer guru in an underground syndicate nick named “THE DARK HORSES” they involve in various illegal activities ranging from kidnaps to assassination of prominent persons. The top four agents in the syndicate were known as dark horses, they radiate nothing less of modern gladiators. Their works were always as clean as crystals, to say they are the best is gross hypobole.

“boss there is a situation here” Jayden interrupted Katarina and bronswort who were killing time. Katarina swerved her chair to face Jayden.
“everything alright? She asked in a mixture of african and american accent. She was a british born Nigerian. Her dad was the boss, he shows himself in a month of sundays his daughter was his mirror as he’ll seat inside and give orders while she directs its execution.

“Michael was involved in an explosion” Jayden tipped.
The name Michael alone triggered fibres of shocks in her, he was the love of her life. She knew he loved her though he’d never admitted it. Katarina stood to her feet, she took a few steps towards Jayden who reversed the footage for her to watch. Tears threatened to gush down her cheeks as her eyes embraced the terrifying scene. She took comfort in the fact that she was the boss around her, emotions shouldn’t intervene in matters related to dark horses.

“trace the last number he called” Bronswort commanded.

Jayden shoke his head in disappointment. “i tried doing that, no tracks were left, the caller identity wasn’t traceable”.

“could be that we have enemies? Asked Abubakar who just walked in.

Katarina heaved. “this must have been planned before hand. We need to be very careful, you’ve been making lots of noise lately”
she warned and walked away to her father’s wing.

LOCATION: Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport, Abuja.

TIMD: 10:56AM

The far and tiny objects observed from above began to magnify as the plane came closer to mother earth. It landed with a bounce, rolled a few more meters, bounced again before finally coming to a halt. The aisle flung open as if it was waiting to smell the Nigerian ground. People of different callibre alighted gently, the sweet aura of expensive body sprays fought defensively against the natural air gas lurking round the airport.
Gabriel took his final step off the aisle. He heaved a big sigh, feels good to be in Nigeria again! He was given three months vacation and decided to spend it with his twin bro, its been ages since they last saw eyeball-to-eyeball. In the heat of the moment Gabriel had tried contacting Michael to tell him about his coming sadly none of his lines were reachable, much to his, (Gabriel’s) distress.
He was clad in all black, he noticed Michael loved black wears especially when in Nigeria. He’d cladded his frame in black to impress the tough nut out of his brother Michael.

LOCATION: CRYSTAL

TIME: 11:05 AM

The incidence of yesterday left Katarina confused and emotionally unstable. She’d been seating next to Jayden for over three hours now. They’d been trying to trace Michael’s last caller but luck ran away from them. Just when she was about giving up, she saw Michael at the airport. The Dark horses had hacked the surveillance systems in all international airports round the nation that way they could monitor what goes in and out of Nigeria.
“Michael!” she screamed excitedly.
Jayden however wasn’t excited he knew Michael couldn’t have made it out of the fire absolutely spotless. Only him in the syndicate knew Michael was a twin ’cause the latter had kept his real identity a secret.
Damn it! Gabriel shouldn’t have come into the country at that time! Jayden swallowed had as he thought how best to tell Katarina it was Gabriel and not Michae.

CHAPTER 2: Sunset at noon

EPISODE 4

Location: Maimi, Florida, USA.

Time: 2:05pm

The sun was high above the sky, even the blind could tell winter had ran back to her hideout. Rows of royal palm flocked the roadsides adding beauty to the city.
The city was as busy as normadics and their animals on a greenland.
Michael was nodding to a raggae song beaming from his car’s stereo.
He drove to a popular yacht station and killed his engine just when he drove into the parking lot.
He stepped out of his black hyundai sonata and took a quick glance at the environment.
He heard it on the grapevine that the feds were always watching, he must be as stealthy as a ghost!
He was clad in a black Taiwan leather jacket, black sweat pants and black shades.
His attaire were gracely embrassed by his milk skin and well toned body. He was on low cut but his hair were so very curly. His hair was his trademark!

Having made sure that the coast was clear, he stepped into a ski-jet prepared for him and sailed down the ocean blue waters.
Michael was an ex american CIA. He was burned for his sticky fingers with government funds.
In the heat of the moment, an underground syndicate based and temporary operating in Nigeria found him useful and recruited him straight to the position of a top agent.
The syndicate had benefited so much from Michael’s skills and expertise. He was always in the warfront of important mission such as the one he was embarking on.
The mission was an easy peasy, sign the contract and get out.
The boss specifically sent him ’cause he, Michael knew every nook and cranny of Maiami, moreso, he was a master of disguise a grand duke of stealth and a gladiator of modern times.

Michael brought his ski-jet to a halt before a white yacht. Without a tiny bug of ado, He hopped into the yacht. He didn’t move two steps before he was accosted by two masked fully armed men. Was this the best Evgani could do? He chuckled inwardly.

“your hands above your head” one of the armed me commanded in a husky and thick Russian accent.
The guard searched Michael roughly.
“he is clean, lead him to the boss” the man commanded his fellow, having been satisfied with his little security check.

Michael took bold steps into the yacht. Evgeni was seated on an accoustic chair with two armed men by his left and right respectively. The interior of the yacht looked more of a third world war infantry. Weapons of variant callibres occupied the room.

Bory Evgeni was Russian most notorious drug dealer who had his pictures pasted in military intelligence base of almost all nations of the world. He was declared internationally wanted roughly two years ago, yet he haven’t been captured. He was really good at what he does, not even the airport authorities know he was in USA.
Michael was to strike a deal with him for hard drugs which are to be shipped into Nigeria in a matter of months.

Evgeni smiled on seeing Michael, his tooth were grey in colour, only God knows how bad they smell!

” i thought you wouldn’t make it, Michael”
“i’m not scared of the authorities, you know that” Michael smirked.

Evgeni owed him big time. Michael had saved his life before.

“shall we get down to business?” asked the impatient Michael.

“oh yes!” Evgeni snapped his fingers and a guard gave Michael a pen and document to sign. Michael signed it and passed the written document to Evgeni who also signed his own part of the deal.

“i need the shipments as soon as they are ready; my clients are impatient about this” stuttered Michael.

“of course”

The duo shoke hands and Michael walked out of the yacht. Mission accomplished! He hopped into his ski- jet and ignited the engine.

Not long into his sailing festival, his phone rang. He picked it up without checking who the caller was.
“sorry Mikey, your story ends here, good to know you wouldn’t have time to repent, demons like you dance in hell!”
said the caller from the other end of the line. Michael was for a moment gobsmacked. He checked for the caller identity, it was hidden. Damn it! His cover can never blow just like that, this must be the handiwork of a friendly enemy.
“who are you? He asked courageously.

“michael!!” a voice screamed into his ear. He wasn’t sure where that voice came from ’cause he had a micro bluetooth earpiece in his ear, a mobile phone on the other ear and the outside world.

“michael! There is a bomb in the boat” this time he was sure it was his colleague speaking, he heard the voice emanating from his earpiece. He turned to search for the bomb.
His gaze fell on a time bomb its time read “00:01” before you could read JERK ROBINSON the bomb went off, everything in the boat, were caught in angry flames. Even the water nearby wasn’t left out.
