"good morning cup cake, I made us breakfast " Derek said from the door and I smiled.
"OK " I said and got up to go meet him but felt something move up to my chest then my throat and the next thing I knew, I was in the bathroom throwing up.
What's wrong with me?
After some mins, I tidied up and came out to meet Derek.
"are you alright " he asked and I nodded.
My stomach growled and we looked at each other.
"common I'm starving " I said and walked past him.
I walked to the dinning, inhaling the sweet aroma of soft turkey tacos with mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie.
"hmm where did you learn to make all these" I asked and put a spoon full of mashed potatoes in my mouth.
"from my girl friend maybe" he said and I smiled.
"it's good to see you now have a girlfriend after years of loneliness " I said and he gave me a look and I chuckled.
Derek watched with mouth open as I devoured the foods on the table.
I don't eat this much but I don't know why I keep eating and not getting satisfied.
I belched out loud as I already finished all the food including the one Derek served himself.
I took an hanky and wiped my mouth and my eyes drifted to Derek as I noticed him staring at me.
"uhm, are you still hungry, I could make you another breakfast " I said as I already ate his breakfast too.
He gently shook his "no" as he looked at me with shock.
"don't look at me like that coz I myself don't know what's wrong with me, I don't eat this much before " I blurted out and he blinked his eyes then smiled.
"OK Lola, I'm off to work, there's still food in the kitchen for you to devour and if you need anything, call me " he said and winked.
He cleared the table not allowing me to do it then he left for work.
I on the other hand, switched on the TV and laid on the couch watching it spiritually as I already dosed off.

My doorbell rang for the third time and I yelled "coming "
I took my bag, already dressed for work and I opened the door to see sir Andre.
"good morning sir " I said and bowed but he walked past me into the house.
"where's she, where have you hidden her " he asked walking around the house.
"who sir " I asked not getting him at all.
Okay I did get him a little. He's looking for someone and and that someone is a girl.
"who sir " I asked.
"don't you dare play dumb with me, where's Lola " he yelled.
"Lola " I asked.
"OMG what happened to Lola, where's she I mean what happened " I asked as it dawned on me that it's my friend Lola he's looking for.
"Anna, don't play dumb okay, if Lola left my house, this is the first place she'll come to" he said.
"but she isn't here " I stated calmly not forgetting he's my boss.
"then where could she be " he asked and ran his hand through his hair.
"have you checked her apartment " I asked and his eyes lit up.
"no"
"OK let's go" I said and luckily for me, he allowed me to follow him.
After some mins of driving, we pulled at Lola's apartment.
We got down and went to the door.
I pressed the doorbell for like hundred times but no response.
The light weren't even on.
I went to ask some neighbours around here and they said she didn't come here.
"apparently she hasn't been here since she left to live with you " I told sir Andre and I watched as he closed his eyes in pain and he reopened it.
"have you called her yet " I asked.
"for million times yes " he said with an hoarse voice.
"any other friends where she could've gone to" he asked and my mind drifted off to Derek.
Derek is Lola's childhood friend and if she didn't come to me then she went to Derek for sure.
Why did Lola leave his house at the first time, I'm too scared to even ask.
I can't tell him about Derek coz Lola must have her reasons for leaving the house.
"is there " he asked bringing me out from my "think" world.
"no" I lied and he sighed and walked to his car.
"where to sir " I asked.
"to look for her "

"I don't know, anywhere, the streets " he said and got in his car then drove off.
Good, now I'll have to hail a cab.
I brought out my phone and called Lola.
After the third dial, I gave up.

"have you found her yet " I said into the phone.
I was on the phone with my boy that's helping me find Lola.
"no madame, I'm still looking "
"OK be fast with it and make sure you find her before Mr Salvatore does" I said and hung up.
I have to find her first, no matter what.

My eyes flew open as I looked around and noticed I was still on the couch.
I sat up rubbing my eyes as my stomach growled.
Now I'm hungry again, what's wrong with me?
If I'm not wrong, these are the symptoms of pregnancy.
Jeez! The thought of it is giving me goosebumps.
I went to the kitchen, devoured everything I found, drank a lot of water and belched..
Satisfied, I went up to my room, took my phone and I saw 36 missed calls.
33 from Andre and 3 from Anna.
I threw my phone on the bed and took my bag.
Took some money and went out to get a pregnancy kit.
I came back and went to the bathroom for the test.
I have to know what's wrong with me.. Can't bear eating like a starving lion, devouring all of Derek's food.
I looked at the kit in my hand and my eyes widened with my mouth open.
I'm pregnant!!

Yeah I did the right thing.
I can't watch my friend getting hurt and sacrificing her love for a so called bitch Lisa.
Telling Andre where to find Lola is the right thing so I shouldn't feel bad about it.
What I did is the best thing for Lola and I know Andre won't let her go again, not even out of his sight.
I just saved my friend's love life.
Awwn I'm so proud of myself.

I took in his manly cologne through my nostrils as he already had me in his arms.
He held me tight like if he blinks an eye, I will disappear.
"oh Lola " he breathed out with one hand around my neck and the other on my waist.
He pulled away from the hug and cupped my face then kissed me passionately.
He looked at me then hugged me again.
"OK what's going on here " we heard a voice which belongs to Derek.
I pulled away from the hug and rested my head on Andre's chest with his hand at the small of my back.
I could feel the tension between Derek and Andre and I know if I don't do something, Derek will be hospitalized.
"he's just a friend, my childhood friend "  I whispered to Andre and he gave me a look that says "are you serious "
"I trust him, so trust me too " I whispered to him again and I could feel him relax.
"Andre we need to talk " I said and pulled him to my room.
"Lola please don't say you won't come back, please come back " he said as soon as we entered my room.
"Andre I can't, start a new life with Lisa and forget about me " I said and looked away.
"I can't do that cuz I love you and only you, can't you see Lisa is trying to tear us apart,  she's not sorry for anything and she just came back to ruin my life " he said, cupping my cheek to look at him.
"Lola I love you, I need you so please come back into my life cuz without you my life is meaningless " he pleaded and I could see his eye welled up in tear.
"Andre you don't " I was saying but held it when I felt something coming up my throat and I ran into the bathroom and threw up.
I tidied up and came out.
Andre carefully walked me to the bed and sat me down gently then sat beside me caressing my cheeks.
"are you pregnant " he asked and I looked at him with shock.
"huh, n-no" I stuttered a little.
"really " he asked and smirked.
He moved closer to me like he was gonna eat me then held my chin up to look into his eyes.
"are you pregnant " he asked with authority like he used to do and I got scared not even knowing when the word "yes" escaped my lips and he chucked while tears came rolling down my cheeks.
"come here " he pulled me into a hug and I sobbed quietly on his shoulder with him caressing my back.
"sshh it's okay, it's okay my love " he cooed softly.
He wiped my tears and kissed me deeply and I reciprocated.

"so Derek, thanks for taking care of Lola " Andre said as they shook hands.
"no need for that, Lola's my childhood friend so anything for her" he said and Andre chuckled.

Andre came out secs later, put my bags in the trunk, opened the car door for me and he drove off.

"are you trying to blackmail me" I said into the phone.
I was seated on the couch in the hall [ parlor ].
"but I told you I was only gonna offer myself to you once after the DNA test and I did, so why blackmail me " I asked.
You must have find out by now.
Yes I bribed doc Antonio to fake the DNA test and what he got as a reward was "my body".
He's calling me now, trying to blackmail me that if I don't come to his house for him to have me again, he'll expose the truth about Alec not being Andre's son.
"look Antonio, I'm not a slut ,I just slept with you so you could fake the DNA coz that was what you wanted, my body and we agreed on it once " I stated rudely into the phone.
Gosh!  I have to take this one outta my way too.
"OK fine, I'll meet you at your house at 20:30" I said and hung up.
I laid back down and my eyes drifted to the door direction and my phone fell off my hands as I see Andre and Lola standing there with smirks plastered on their faces.

"Lola where are you " I yelled as hot tears kept streaming down my cheeks.
Where else do I look for you?

This is all Lisa's fault.
Had she not come back into my life then Lola would still be with me, I wouldn't have lost Lola.
Lisa must pay for this.
I'm gonna make her pay.
I have to go back home to confront her.
I wiped my tears and looked around not even knowing my way back home.
I revised and started following the familiar route I passed before.
It's all Lisa's fault and she's gonna pay.

I sat on the couch, thinking everything through.
I can't believe I'm pregnant.
The door bell hit my ear like a loud whistle and I sprang up and ran to the door.
"hey " Derek said coming inside.
"welcome " I said smiling.
"are you alright, I've been at the door for like 2 mins now " he said, feigning anger.
"I'm sorry " I said and looked down.
"come here " he took my hand and sat me on the couch then sat beside me.
"now I'm all ears, tell me what happened to you " he said and I sighed
"trust me you don't wanna know " I said and he scoffed.
"doubt me I wanna know everything" he said and I chuckled.
"well it's about my relationship with Andre Salvatore " I started.

"aahh I feel like strangling Lisa with my bare hands" Derek roared as I already told him everything.
"don't worry Lola, you guys will be back together again " he said and I smiled as a tear escaped my eye.
"Andre really has good tastes " he said and I arched an eyebrow.
" I think he has something for brunette and petite woman like you " he said and I nodded in agreement coz Lisa is a brunette which I am too,  she's petite and I am too.
"that's ..." I was saying but trailed off as the door bell rang..
Derek and I looked at each other.
Understanding our looks, we nodded negatively meaning we both aren't expecting anyone.
"OK I'll get it " Derek said and went to get it.
Derek opened the door and was pushed away by an angry Anna.
"where's she " Anna yelled and stopped on her track as her eyes landed on mine.
"we need to talk " she said pulling me up by my arm.
"hey careful with her, make sure she doesn't get hurt " we heard Derek say from down stairs.
"Lola what is wrong with you " she yelled as we were already inside my room.
"nothing " I said and moved my two shoulders up.
"Lola do you know the situation you've put Andre, do you know how he's running mad scouring the streets just for you,  a billionaire in the streets just for you Lola and you say nothing " she half yelled saying the last part more like a whisper.
"Lola come to your senses,  Andre needs you, you need him, don't be too weak to fight for your love " she said and I collapsed on the floor crying.
Everything she's saying is true.
"Lola what's wrong"  Anna squatted down to my level.
"I'm pregnant,  Anna I'm pregnant " I cried and laid my head on her shoulder.
"that's it Lola, I'm done with you hurting yourself, I'm done with you playing the good guy and always getting hurt, I'm gonna tell Andre where to find you and it's final"
"no Anna don't, please I beg of you, don't tell Andre where I am " I cried more.
"it's OK stop crying I won't tell him, just stop crying " Anna said and wiped my tears.
"thank you " I said and hugged her.
I watched my face and we went down stairs to meet Derek.
"I hope she didn't hurt you Lola, coz if she did then she ain't going home " Derek said teasingly and we laughed.
"so uhm Lola, Derek, I need to leave now cuz I've got things to do " Anna said and Derek walked her out.
"so I can see you made dinner " Derek said and sat beside me.
"yeah coz you've got eyes " I said and he rolled his eyes.
"you'll never change " he said and went upstairs.
"as if he has changed "

"if you didn't come then Lola wouldn't have left me " Andre yelled as he pushed me hard to the floor again.
"it's not my fault Andre, she didn't love you that's why she left, Andre I love you and I'm here for you " I cried.
"I don't need you, you were never there when I needed you so why should I now" he yelled and grabbed my hand, his fingers piercing deep into my arm and I winced in pain.
"you are such a devil and I'll never accept you " he yelled and pushed me making me bump into the wall..
He was coming closer to hurt me more but thankfully, he's phone rang.
He brought it out and answered it almost immediately like he was happy that the person called.
"yes Anna tell me " he said walking away.
Andre has really become cold..
I can't believe he hurt me like this.
I looked at my bruised arms and cried.
This is all because of Lola and she must pay.

"but why does he have to be so possessive " Derek asked as I was telling him about Andre from the very first time we met.
"it's not his fault,  after what Lisa did to him,  he kinda blames himself for not protecting his love so that's why he's over protective over me not wanting to loose me" I explained and he rolled his eyes.
"and here I thought I was talking to someone with brain" I pouted and we both sighed when the door bell rang AGAIN!!
Like seriously, what's up with this people.
"I'll get it " I said and went to get it.
I froze on my spot as I saw Andre at the porch.

I stood up to my feet with a pounding heart..
Have they been there the whole time?  Did they hear my conversation?
Those questions kept finding their way to my mind.
"wow wow wow, so you're a home wrecker all along " Lola said, clapping her hands.
"why are you sweating all of a sudden, afraid we now know the whole truth " Andre asked and I touched my forehead and I noticed I was transpiring.
"it's not what you think " I tried defending myself.
"oh no need for explanations Lisa, just go up there, pack your things and trash out " Lola remarked rudely and I felt the urge to land a slap on her cheek.
I sprung forward to hit her but stopped my hand in mid air when I heard Andre say "don't even give it a try ".
"if you know what's good for you, get outta of this house and our lives forever " Andre said and I smirked.
"oh really,  remember I'm still legally married to you and I still have right over you " I said smiling devilishly as I watched Lola's sad expression.
She touched her head like she was feeling some pains there.
Andre noticed it and held her.
"come I'll take you upstairs, you need to rest " he said and took her upstairs.

I laid Lola gently on the bed and covered her with the duvet.
I sat beside for some mins before she fell asleep.
I don't want her to see what's gonna happen between Lisa and I coz I'm really gonna murder her.
I wend downstairs to meet Lola on the couch with an evil grin plastered on her face as she sat and crossed her leg.
"legally married you say " I asked and chuckled.
I brought out the divorce paper I kept behind me and she gasped.
I've filed for a divorce ever since Lola moved into my house
I already signed it and Lisa has to sign it, in an easy way or the hard way.
"well well well how smart of you but I'm not gonna sign it " she said and scoffed.
"oh really " I said and held her neck from behind then tightened my grip on it as she winced in pain.
"you're gonna sign it " I said between gritted teeth.
"I'm not " she struggled to say.
I tightened my grip on her neck and she cried out.
"let me go "
"are you signing it "
"no"
"let me go you bastard "
"if you don't let me go, I'm gonna scream and wake up Lola and I don't think you want her to see this side of you " she said and I smirked.
"that's if I let you scream"  I said and before I could say another thing,  a loud scream escaped her lips and I let go of her.
Soon Lola came running downstairs looking scared.
"Andre what happened " she rushed to my side and I hugged her.
"it's nothing,  nothing at all " I said, glaring at Lisa who held her neck gasping for air.
"let's get you back to bed " I said and took Lola upstairs.
I laid her on the bed and laid beside her.
She laid her head on my chest making her lay partly on me.
I caressed her hair and her arm as I waited patiently for her to fall back asleep.
She fell asleep and I quietly sneaked out to another room.
I don't know how to get Lisa to sign the divorce papers
I brought out my phone and called Matthew.
He picked up almost immediately.
"hey " he said into the phone, his voice hoarse and barely a whisper.
I know something's wrong.
He might have betrayed me but he's still my friend and I care about him.
I'm even glad he took Lisa away cuz I met someone better, Lola.
"Matt what's wrong " I asked.
"are you really asking me that, isn't she there with you now " he said and I didn't get him.

He's been drinking.
"Matt, what happened between you and Lisa " I asked.
"nothing much, just one day, she told me she doesn't love me anymore and that it's you she loves and also Alec is your son, I did a DNA and Alec is truly your son " he said and I sighed.
Lisa is really a pain in the neck.
"Matt I've moved on and I don't need Lisa, Alec isn't mine, she must've faked the DNA test just like she did mine " I said and I saw a glimpse of happiness in his eyes.
"so you mean Alec is truly my son " he asked.
"that's what it seems " I said and he smiled as a tear slid down his cheek.
"what about Lisa, do you think she'll want me back " he asked and I sighed.
"that I don't know coz I think Lisa is loosing it " I said and he arched an eyebrow at me.
"don't look at me like that, Lisa is really loosing it and she needs a doc " I said.
"if we take her to the doc, probably she'll sleep with him again " I thought to myself.
"Lisa is still legally married to me and she has refused to sign the divorce papers " I said and ran my hand through my hair in frustration.
"so what do we do "
"I don't know, maybe sue her to court and present all her crimes,  stealing a child from his father and claiming another man is the father" I said and he glared at me.
"and faking a DNA test result " I added.
"so you really love Lisa and want her back " I asked and he nodded.
"OK then, I have a plan "
"what plan and if it didn't work " he asked
"then we go through with the first option "

I walked up to Lola and Andre's room to meet Lola sleeping peacefully.
After taking my man away from me, she thinks she can enjoy her life.
No way!
I brought out the knife I held behind me and went over to her.
I'm gonna stab her and she will be out of my life forever.
My leg hit the table beside her bed making some noise and she opened her eyes and gasped as she saw the knife in my hand.
She raised the pillow and hit the knife from my hand making it fall to the floor.
I went over to the bed and yanked her hair causing her to wince in pain.
"you bitch, you think you can enjoy your life after ruining my marriage " I pulled her hair more.
"let me go " she cried out tapping my hand.
"if you hadn't come into his life then he'd still take me back "
"you bitch I said let me go" she cried and managed to pull my hand off her hair.
"you would never enjoy your life coz I'll make it miserable " I said and slapped her.
"you good for nothing imbecile " she said and slapped me back.
I yanked her hair and she yanked mine as we fought, pulling each others hair.
"Andre will never accept you " she said and she pulled my hair while I pulled hers too.
"you two face sized beast " she said and pushed me to the floor and ran out.
I sprung up, picked up the knife and ran after her.
She ran down the stairs just then the door flew open and in came Andre and Matthew.
She ran into Andre's arms and he wrapped his arms around her protectively.
He looked her up and down and saw her hair messed up and the dried tears that plastered on her cheeks.
He flared up, glaring at me with clenched jaw.
He sprung forward towards me but Matthew pulled him Back.
"relax man, we came here to solve things not worsen it " he said to Andre.
"well I'd gladly worsen things if she ever lays her hands on Lola " he spat angrily while Matt nodded looking at me.
"Lisa " Matt called coming closer to me.
"Lisa is Alec my son " he asked and I scoffed.
"what if he is " I asked rudely.
"but why did you lie to me,  you took him away from me why did you have to do that "
"listen, I don't have time for these questions and answers,  Andre is accepting me back into his life and it's final " I seethed truthfully.
"never " Lola spat out, still in Andre's arms.
"Lisa what is wrong with you, Matt loves you and he's ready to take you back can't you see that " Andre asked and I laughed out loud with tears sliding down my cheeks.
"too bad I don't want him, it's you I want and it's you I'll get " I said with a wry smile.
"Lisa you are not in your right senses, common this is not the girl I fell in love with, the Lisa I knew is different, the Lisa I knew is selfish but not to this extent, Lisa come to your senses " Andre said and came in front of me.
"Lisa this is not you " he said and cupped my face with his hands.
"well I've changed coz people change everyday " I said and brushed past him like I was going towards the couch but I went straight for Lola and held her with the knife around her neck.
"no Lisa please don't do this, please " Andre pleaded as his eyes well up in tears.
"Lisa you don't have to do this " Matt added coming closer.
"don't you dare move " I cried and tightened the knife against her throat and he stopped on his track..
"don't move " I ordered and slowly walked Lola out with the knife still around her neck as she sobbed quietly.
I pushed her inside the car and entered too then drove off in high-speed.
I looked through the middle mirror and saw another car following us and I know it to be Andre and Matt.
"Lisa stop the car " Lola cried and I turned the knife to face her.
"keep shut or I'll cut you into pieces " I warned and increased my speed.
"Lisa slow down " Matt screamed with his head out through the window.
I turned and looked at Andre and Matt from behind with a smirk on my face.
"Lisa watch out " Lola yelled and before I could even see clearly, the trailer in front of us hit our car making it to change direction and bump into a big tree and that was all I remembered.

"OMG Lola, my child " Matt and I ran to where their car is.
We tried opening the car door but it was stuck.
I broke the window glass with my elbow and found Lisa on top of Lola covering her with her body.
Lisa was badly hurt as her body was bruised, her forehead was bleeding badly and I wonder if she'd survive it.
I carried Lisa out and Matt took her then I carried Lola.
She was barely hurt, just a bruise on the fore head and a little bruise on her ankle.
We got in the car and rushed them to the hospital.

It's been an hour now and the doc has said nothing.
"Mr Salvatore " the doc called behind me and I turned to face him with a pounding heart.
"you both should see me in my office " he said and without wasting a sec, Matt and I followed him to his office.
"so Mr Salvatore, Lolita Sanchez is alright as there's no much damage on her " he said and I heaved sigh of relief.
"and my child "
"and Lisa "
Matt and I asked at once and looked at each other.
"your child is perfectly fine, what we should worry about is Lisa " he said and Matt and I looked at each other.
I could see the hurt in his eyes.
"Lisa is in a critical condition as she suffered many damages, she's still unconscious but she'll be fine, what I don't get is why Lola didn't sustain much injury " he said and I arched an eyebrow at him.
"all the same, let's pray the same miracle that happened to Lola happens to Lisa too " he said and I nodded.
I patted Matt's shoulder as a tear slid down his cheek.

"hey " I said smiling as I took Lola's hand in mine.
She smiled warmly and I pecked her lips softly.
"Andre our child " she asked.
"he's perfectly fine " I said and her face beamed with happiness.
"you mean "she" she said and rolled her eyes then wince in pain as she touched her fore head that was bandaged..
"Andre how's Lisa " she asked and I sighed.
"she's still unconscious and in a critical condition " I said and she started sniffing then tears started strolling down her cheeks.
"hey why are you crying " I asked wiping her tears.
"Andre Lisa can't die, she saved my life so she can't die " she said and I gave her a look
"she saved your life " I asked not believing my ears.
Isn't Lisa the cause of all these?
"when we were about to hit the trailer, she used her body to cover me and maybe that's why I'm not badly injured " she blurted out and it dawned on me.
That was the reason we found Lisa on top of Lola.
So she actually saved her?
"Lisa won't die okay, just rest " I said and caressed her hair.
Soon she was asleep.

"Matt, maybe you should go to my house coz Alec is all alone in the house and he might freak out if he finds no one in the house " I said and he nodded then left.
"Lisa is awake now " a nurse said to me and I ran to her ward.
This is the better time to carry out my plan.

Eric was just trying to cover his face, defending himself from this monster.
I'm done with this, I can't watch and do nothing.
I went closer to them and pulled Andre by his collar since he squatted down to beat Eric.

I had no where to go so I just roamed on the streets.

It's been quite a while now.

I got up and went upstairs, I stood at her door and put my ear to listen but it was quiet.

The door bell rang and I went to get it.
I opened the door and let Brianna in.
"I've been waiting like forever " Lola pouted and I scoffed.
"she just got dressed and she said she's been waiting like forever " I thought to myself.
"so love I'm off " she said and kissed me.
I closed the door and fell on the couch.

      🏵 Lola's P. O. V🏵

I snuggled closer into Andre's arms as he held me to his body tightly.
The memories of last night came flushing back as he pleaded for me not to leave him, one thing led to another and we ended up making love to each other.
I tried sitting up but Andre's hold on me tightened.
"Andre come on I need to freshen up " I said and tried to sit up again.
"I don't want to ever leave you, just stay in my arms "
"I just wanna freshen up, it's morning already " I pouted.
He rose up and hovered over me kissing my cheeks, nose, neck and lips.
"Andre stop it " I said cos it was starting to tickle.
He kissed my lips slowly but passionately as I laced my hands in his hair.
"so you wanna still freshen up " he teased as I already started moaning.
"dumbass " I cussed and he chuckled.
He carried me up and I wrapped my legs around his torso with my hands around his neck and he took us both to the shower and we freshened up together.
Andre and I came downstairs to meet Lisa and Alec already eating breakfast.
"daddy " Alec called and ran to Andre causing Andre to look at me but I just smiled.
"hey " Andre said and picked Alec up in his arms.
"dad come join us for breakfast, mom prepared it " Alec said and Andre smiled then looked at me.
"no my boy, I don't eat that food " he said and Alec frowned.
"just go eat okay " Andre said and dropped him and he went to the dinning.
I glanced at Lisa and returned the glare she threw at me.
"oh Andre love, I already make breakfast for you, come eat " Lisa said as she walked up to Andre trailing her hand down his chest.
Andre grabbed her hand forcefully making her flinch and pushed her away.
He turned to me and smiled.
"come love, I'll make you breakfast " Andre said and held my hands escorting me to the kitchen.
I sat on the kitchen counter and watched Andre prepare breakfast for me.
I really love Andre so much and I don't wanna leave him but what to do?
Andre is still legally married to Lisa and if Alec is really Andre's son then I loose coz it seems Lisa has realised her mistake and I can't be the one to tear apart the family so I'll have to leave.
Just a tiny hope, just one hope, that Alec is not Andre's.
Andre served me breakfast and we ate together.
Oh, Andre already called his doc Antonio last night and gave him all the requirements for the DNA test and he said he will bring the results today.

Look how Andre is taking care of that bitch Lola, I know I messed up big time but I'm back and I'm back to take what's rightfully mine.
I already started my plans which is separating them.
I kissed Andre the other time coz I saw that Lola and the way she was looking at us, I knew she must be Andre's girl and the only way to make her jealous was to kiss Andre which I did but Andre pushed me away, luckily for me, Lola already left.
I eavesdropped on their conversation that night and they called a doc for the DNA test.
Lola is gonna leave if Alec is Andre's son and she should get prepared coz Alec is indeed Andre's son.
And as it is, I'm still legally married to Andre and I own him.
The door bell rang and Andre went to get it.
He opened the door and in came doc Antonio.
I looked over to Lola and I could see she was shaking, probably scared that the results might be positive.
Antonio handed the envelope to Andre and he took it.
He opened it, looked over to Lola then swallowed hard.
He looked it and I smirked as a tear slid down his eyes.
Lola already got the message as tears already started strolling down her cheeks and she ran upstairs.
Oh my dear Lola, time for you to bounce out.

Lisa ran upstairs and Andre breathed out.
He wiped his tears and looked up to Antonio that was still here.
"are you sure there's no mistakes" he asked.
"there isn't, he's your son " Antonio said and Andre nodded then Antonio left.
"I told you Andre, Alec is yours " I said moving closer to him.
"five years ago when I left you, after some weeks I found out I was pregnant,  I knew perfectly well that the child belongs to you but I told Matthew it belongs to him anyway. I gave birth to Alec and Matthew accepted him as his child although he still had doubts. Little did I know that Matt was secretly doing a DNA test and that's how he found out that Alec isn't his and he threw us outta his house and I had no where to go than here " I said as tears stroll down my cheeks.
"so Andre, I know I made a very big mistake but I'm sorry, I realise my mistake now so let's build up our family " I said touching him but he yanked my hands off.
"Andre let Lola go, she doesn't belong here, she's still very young and innocent, let her start her life afresh " I said holding his arm but he pushed me away and I landed on the couch.
I got up and tried walking to him but stopped when he yelled "stop"
"don't you dare come closer to me " he yelled as tears stream down his cheeks.
"what wrong did I do to you Lisa that you had to ruin my life, I regret ever falling in love with you, gosh you're so despicable " he yelled with tears still streaming down his cheeks.
"Lola isn't going anywhere, if anyone's gonna leave then it would be you " he yelled and I smirked.
"really, remember you're still legally married to me and we now have a son making our bond stronger " I said and laughed.
"you're so evil Lisa, why did someone like you have to come into my life in the first place, fine, if you're not leaving then Lola and I will elope to somewhere far and live happily together " he yelled and I flared up.
"dare me Andre, you're going nowhere "I spat out.
"oh yeah I am" he said and ran upstairs.
He thinks he can leave just like that, no way.

I zipped up my luggage as I already placed all my things inside.
I don't belong here so I'll have to leave.
The door flew open and Andre came in with tears in his eyes.
"Lola please don't go, please don't leave me " he held my hands and squatted down in front of me.
"Andre I have to leave, build up your family " I said and looked away.
"but I thought you love me, if you love me then stay with me" he said sniffing.
"I do love you Andre, but can't you see the world is against us, can't you see the universe don't want us together " I cried and got up from the bed I was seated on.
"we will make the world be with us, we will make the universe accept us" he said turning me to face him.
"Andre no matter what, I can't stay with you anymore, you have a son, a wife and you have to build up that family so do the needful " I half yelled.
"Lola you don't love me coz if you do you will feel the pain I'm feeling right now " he said and it was like my heart was being pricked.
How can he say I don't love him, how can he think I don't feel the pain.
In fact I'm the one who's more hurt coz if I leave him, he still has a family to call his own while I don't even know if I can move on.
"is that what you think, that I don't love you, that I don't feel your pain" I asked as hot tears trickled down my cheeks.
"Andre I feel your pain, it hurts so much to my brain that I can't even think straight anymore " I yelled.
"how could you doubt my love for you " I asked.
"Lola I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say that " he said, coming closer to me but I moved backward.
"Andre you have to let me go, you're still legally married to Lisa and she has realised her mistake so accept her back" I said.
"I can't do that "
"Andre for me, do it for me " I said but he shook his head "no"
"Andre if you love me, just a tiny feeling for me then let me go" I said pleadingly.
"that's one thing I can't do for you Lola, I love you and I want to always see you happy but I can't let you go because I'm this selfish " he said and I held my head trying to calm the pains I feel.
"Lola just stay with me" he said looking straight into my eyes.
I know for sure that Andre won't let me go.
If I really wanna leave then I'll have to plan another way out.
"please Lola " he said and I nodded.
He wrapped his arms around me tightly like I will disappear into thin air.
"I love you so much " he said and kissed my lips and I smiled.

"Lola come have dinner, I prepared it specially for you " Andre said from the door.
I smiled and followed him downstairs to meet Lisa and Alec already seated.
Lisa smiled at me and I returned it.
I understand what's she going through coz I'm a woman like her.
"don't worry Lisa, you'll have your Andre back" I said in my mind.
"Lisa get up" Andre said calmly.
"but I " Lisa was saying but was cut off when Andre yelled "I said get up "
Lisa stood up with tears in her eyes and ran to her room.
I looked at Andre with a blank expression and he just looked away avoiding my gaze.
"dad why did you chase mom away " Alec asked, starting to tear up
"coz she's bad and you can run along with her if you want "Andre said and I hit his chest gently.
"Alec sweetie, don't mind daddy, he just had too much to drink " I said and Andre gave me a look and I chuckled then we started eating.
"let's go up love " Andre said.
"uhm I'll be up soon, I just wanna do something in the kitchen"
"I'll wait "
"no just go wait for me" I said and he looked at me suspiciously.
"what, I'm not gonna leave " I said defending myself and he smiled then went upstairs.
I took dinner to Lisa in her room with Alec with me.
I knocked and walked in.
"I brought this for you " I said to Lisa and she smiled.
"thanks " she said.
"Lola please leave Andre, I know I don't deserve a second chance but please leave him and he will come back to me, please " she cried.
"don't worry Lisa, I wouldn't want to be the one to break up this family, I'll leave " I said as a tear find its way outta my eye.
"really, you'll do that "
"yes for you, Alec and Andre " I said and smiled as my tears became plenty.
"thank you so much, I'm grateful " she said and hugged me.
"so how are you gonna leave and when are you planning to leave "
"tonight "
"do you have anywhere to go, I have an  apartment where you can stay"
"no thanks, I have somewhere to go " I said and we smiled.
"thank you so much "she said and I nodded and wiped the fucking tears that kept streaming down.
"I better go before Andre finds me here " I said and got up then left.

"what rook you so long " he asked as I got on the bed and laid beside him with my head on his chest.
"sssh " I said, caressing his bare chest and he chuckled.

I got up watching Andre as he slept.
"I'm sorry my love" I whispered.
I got down from the bed, took my already packed luggage and went out.
I reached down stairs to meet Lisa.
She smiled when she saw me and I returned the smile though I'm hurting like hell.
"you're an angel " she said and hugged me.
I smiled and came outside.
"bye Andre, goodbye my love " I said and turned my back then left.

"have you gone bunkers" I yelled and pushed Lisa away from me.
I can't believe she just kissed me.
"Lisa you " I was saying but stopped when I saw the retreating figure of Lola moving away.
"Lola "I called and stormed outta of the room following Lola.
I opened the door to her room and there she was, seated on her bed with tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Lola it's not what you think " I said trying to touch her but she raised her hand signaling me to stop.
"don't touch me " she cried.
"Lola please listen to me, she was the one who kissed me but I pushed her away " I explained but she wasn't buying it.
"Andre you have a son yet you didn't tell  me, and you kissed a woman right in front of my eyes, why do you keep hurting me " she cried.
"Lola I can explain, but please don't turn it around, I didn't kiss her, she was the one who kissed me but I pushed her away " I explained and squat in front of her.
"Lola please listen to me, I know I made a mistake in not telling you about my past but  trust me, I love you " I said with my hands on her hips as tears welled up in my eyes.
Lola is so emotional and she can decide to leave me.
The thought of her leaving me is piercing my heart.
"Lola please just give me a chance and I'll explain everything to you " I pleaded holding her hands.
I got up and sat beside her ready to tell her everything about my past.
"Lisa is my ex wife " I started.

         [[[ Flash Back ]]]  5 years ago.

  It was a normal day, I got back from work happy coz I couldn't wait to hold Lisa in my arms.
We were newly wedded just 3 months.
I opened the door to our room and met Lisa seated on a little sofa that she placed in front of a table where she does her make up.
I hugged her from behind and kissed her cheeks but she paid no attention to me, it was like I was invisible.
"Lisa, didn't you miss me" I asked smiling.
"why should I " she scoffed and I smiled it off.
"I know you missed me but you're trying to cover it up " I said and kissed the crook of her neck.
"well I didn't " she said and yanked my hands off her and left the room.
I sighed knowing she's been acting strange for the past few weeks now and I don't know why.
The next morning I woke up but Lola wasn't in bed.
I went to the hall and saw her seated on the couch, lost in thoughts.
"Lola what's wrong with you, I'm tired of you acting strange and always lost in thoughts, talk to me and we'll find a solution to whatever it is that's wrong" I said convincingly but she just smirked and stood in front of me looking me eye balls to eye balls.
"look there " she pointed to her right and that's when I noticed her luggage.
"what's this, are you travelling " I asked not getting her point.
"more like I'm leaving you " she blurted out and I was taken aback but still thought she was joking.
"Lisa this joke is too expensive and I can get an heart attack from it " I said sternly.
"I'm leaving you Andre, I don't love you anymore " she said and that was when I knew she was serious.
"but why, what did I do, we love each other and that's why we got married "
"yeah and it's a mistake coz I now realised my heart beats for someone else and not you, I was just attracted to you like a normal girl would, I don't love you " she said blankly and turned to take her luggage but I pulled her back.
"Lisa where have I gone wrong, I always try my best to make you happy and you want to leave me" I asked as a tear slid down my cheek.
I really don't want to loose Lisa.
"let me go " she yelled and freed herself from my grasp.
The door flew open and in came Matthew, my friend but not close friend though.
"are you ready love " he asked and Lisa smiled and walked up to him with her luggage.
"what's all these Lisa " I asked.
"well I realised my heart beats only for Matthew not you so I'm gonna marry him " she blurted out and the next thing I knew was that I already got Matt pinned to the wall.
"how dare you steal Lisa from me " I roared.
"Andre let him go, I'm the one who chose him so get that into your thick skull" Lisa pulled me from Matt.
Matt has always been a pain in the ass but I didn't knew it will get to this extent.
I realised that after my wedding with Lisa, he always visited us and always sit beside Lisa and they always chat and laugh and they were kinda like the "close friends " but little did I know that he would steal Lisa from me.
I'm such an idiot.
How could I let my newly wedded wife chit chat with Matt.
Had I been protective, this wouldn't have happened.
Had I focus more on Lisa and less on work, this wouldn't have happened.
"Lisa please don't leave me " I cried and knelt in front of her.
Lisa is my first love and the thought of loosing her is the most painful thing I ever experienced.
She ignored me and followed Matt.
There, that was how I lost my first love

"so that's it " I said and wiped the hurtful tears that were pouring down.
"so Lola, I don't wanna loose you, I love you more than I ever loved Lisa and if you leave me, I'd die " I said and squeezed her hand gently.
She looked at me and wiped my tears then hugged me.
"I love you " she whispered into my ear.
"I love you too" I said.
"Andre you don't have to blame  yourself okay, it wasn't your fault but Lisa's, she never loved you so forget about that bitch" she said and I chuckled.
"please don't ever leave me " I said and she sighed and disengaged from the hug.
"Andre that I can't promise coz if Lisa's back with a child she claims to be yours then I don't wanna be the one standing in between you both " she said and I could see the hurt in her eyes.
"no Lola, we will carry out a DNA test to know if truly Alec is mine" I said and she held a blank expression.
"and if he is " she asked and I swallowed hard.
"what if he is " I asked back and she looked at me then looked away.
"then I'll leave " she blurted out.

"haha haha 😂 " I laughed to myself as Lola was already out of our life.
She's so gullible to have believed my fake pleas.
Now I should plan on having Andre to love me again.
I'm his first love and I know he's still has some soft spot for me.
I went back to my room and laid beside Alec then drifted to sleep knowing one problem has been solved.

I stood at the porch of Derek with tears streaming down my cheeks.
Derek is my childhood friend and he was the one who took me in before I got a job and an apartment.
We hardly chat coz work has gotten the best of me making me forget Derek until now that I'm badly hurt.
I spend more time with Anna since she's... You know, a female while Derek is an opposite that I can't talk to much.
I wanted to go to Anna's but then I thought,  Anna's place will be the first place Andre will look since he knows Anna and I are close friends so I decided against it and came to Derek coz Andre doesn't know anything about him and it will be difficult for him to find me here.
Living with a guy it's weird though but I trust Derek.
I pressed the doorbell again and it took some secs before the door flew open.
Standing there was Derek, looking hot as ever.
His smooth blonde hair neatly done, his  brown dark eyes that gets you scared and that six pack and his muscular arms.
He's so hot and cute.
Don't get me wrong, that I'm checking him out doesn't mean I have something for him.
"Lola " he screamed smiling.
"hey " I said softly and he pulled me in for a warm hug.
He pulled away when he heard me sniff.
"Lola what's wrong " he asked checking me up and down until he noticed the sticky trail of tears that plastered on my cheeks.
He took me in, closed the door and made me sit on the couch.
He went to the kitchen and got me water and I gulped it down.
"now tell me what's wrong" he asked and we looked at each other.... That look.
Soon we burst out laughing.
"Lola don't dare turn the issue around, now tell me what happened to you,  who hurt you " he asked and I looked down holding tight to the glass cup.
"Lola look at me " he said and held my chin up to look at him.
"what happened to you " he asked softly in that heart melting voice and I burst out crying.
"sshh it's okay " he cooed with me in his arms as I cried out loud.
"everything will be alright " he cooed and I could feel my eyelids getting heavy.
I felt myself lifted up as he took me to a room and laid me gently on the bed.
My eyelids were too heavy to stay open so I gave in and drifted to sleep.
I felt Derek kiss my forehead and walked away.

I woke up expecting to see Lola by my side but didn't.
"Lola " I called and knocked on the bathroom door but got no response.
I opened the bathroom but she wasn't in there.
I felt my heart skip at the thought of her leaving me.
But she said she wouldn't leave me.
I rushed down stairs, to the kitchen and to everywhere but couldn't find her.
"Andre " I heard Lisa call my name but I said nothing as I ran up the stairs open Lola's wardrobe but found nothing and I could feel hot tears already strolling down my cheek.
She said she wouldn't leave

She left me.
Why does all my love have to leave? first Lisa and now Lola.
"Lola please come back, come back." I cried and collapsed on the floor.
"please come back "
"Andre " Lisa called as she came in.
"Andre is not your fault, Lola didn't love you that's why it was easy for her to leave you " she said and squatted to my level.
"get out " I yelled and she flinched.
"get out " I yelled and she sprang up and went out.
"Lola I'll find you, I must find you " I said and got up to go dress up.

Poem Title : REFLECTION.

REFLECTION


She felt much discomfort,
Even when many appraised her.

She whispered to herself in a low Tone of Anger,
In-front of a tall standing Mirror
"I AM UGLY"
In annoyance, she bursted   into Tears.

Kelvin was sighted from afar with Adenike gisting about the  ongoing event.

A voice was heard,
As Kelvin focused his mind to where it's coming from,
Then he dashed off.

Joy, he called as she was lying on the floor, helplessly and in forlorn hopes.

His gentle voice, Jingled
all over her soul, as she was brought back to life.
He struggled to lift her up the floor,

Then He said,
Your beauty can never be traded for anything in Life,
You look more beautiful, even when you smile.

She was lost in her thoughts,
As she was brought back to Life, with a peck on her chin.
She walks down the little corridor, that leads to her bedroom where she stood in front of a standing mirror.
Then she said to herself
Indeed, I am an Angel..
